Tractor Trek: Carrington June 27, 2008
Helping a Neighbor... In Carrington, when your neighbor's tractor won't start, you offer a helping hand. That's just the way it is here in North Dakota country!
June 27, 2008: It was a beautiful morning for a tractor trek... not too hot and not too cold... JUST RIGHT! Families gathered at the Carrington Park to see their loved ones off. Lots of getting organized, lining up and waving good-by. If you're sentimental about traditions and Carrington's past, you won't want to miss more pictures of the Tractor Trek... Look forward to a video (if I can figure out how to put it online!)
Foster County Fair June 24, 25 & 26 Carrington Fairgrounds We hope you didn't miss this year's fair! Thank you, everyone, for coming out to support a tradition that shouldn't go by the wayside. The people who participated in the fair this year put a lot of effort into their booths, displays and friendly competition. The young people especially need to be acknowledged for their outstanding projects. And, the businesses and individuals who bid on this year's livestock deserve a pat on the back for helping these youngsters continue with their endeavors. Also, a BIG round of applause goes to the people who organized the fair and put so much work into making it a success! Click here for an outline of this year's SCHEDULE & some pictures of the past...
