Colorful, healthy, local products... What a treat!

If you haven't visited our farmers market in Carrington, be sure to do so, especially if you didn't have your own garden this year. Located on HWY 281 in front of Hedahls Parts Plus (next to the Chieftain), it's an easy, convenient place to find. Just look for all the colorful flowers and vegetables... all home-grown and home-made products that will definitely tempt your taste buds!

Steve Zwinger, owner of Prairie Seeds, is a regular at Carrington Farmers Market.

Not only will you find great produce when you stop at our farmers market, but you'll also find friendly people. It's fun to stop and chat while shopping. Be sure to visit with Steve Zwinger who specializes in certified organic potatoes and garden vegetables. He will even make home-deliveries through December.

Hampton and Cynthia Spencer, owners of NUDAY Farm, offer a variety of products.

As well as fresh home-grown garden produce, farmers such as Hampton and Cynthia Spencer, offer other items like... canned pickles, rhubarb sauce, honey, wreathes, homeopathic items, and Echinacea flowers. They keep very busy with attending other farmers markets, as well as running a call-in, mail-order, wholesale business.

A customer is very appreciative of the Spencers' pickles.

Although only a few farmers are showing up for the market on Sundays, it's well worth stopping by for the great produce that is there. Also, it just feels good to buy things from local, hard-working farmers!
