Sykeston Days July 23, 24 & 25
Lots of fun events will be taking place in nearby Sykeston this weekend! Take a look at their schedule of events: Friday - July 23rd: 5-8pm: Country Cafe Special Steak & Shrimp Supper - $10 7-9pm: Closest to the Pin Contest 9:30pm-12:30am: Street Dance - Main Street - $5 Saturday - July 24th: 10am: 5K Run/Walk - Register: 9:30am - $10 - Start at School 3-5pm: Closest to the Pin Contest 5-7pm: American Legion Post #17 Pork Loin Supper - Legion Hall - Freewill Offering 7pm: Bingo - Legion Hall - $5/card - 16 games Sunday - July 25th: 11am: St. Paul's Lutheran Church Services 11am: St Elizabeth's Catholic Church Mass in Park 12 Noon: Community Potluck Picnic in the Park (Meat, Buns & Utensils Provided) Proceeds from these events will be used to help with the maintenance of the Cafe and Sykeston Park Project. Yard & Garden Tour - 2010 Tuesday, July 27th 4:30-8:30pm Look forward to this year's Yard & Garden Tour on Tuesday, July 27th. Sponsored by the Carrington Health Center Auxiliary, this year's tour features the yards of:

Previous Tour - 2007
Tickets for the tour are $10, which includes live entertainment, cookies and lemonade at each location. You can purchase them at the Happy Heart Hutch (Carrington Health Center) or at The Garden Gate on Main Street or at the first home on the night of the tour. All proceeds go toward purchasing medical equipment for the health center. For more information, contact Bonnie Rosenau at 652-2153 or Laura Irion at 652-3399.
