Cabin Fever Quilt Show
What a great weekend event - featuring many quilts and works from area quilters!
The Carrington Elementary School Gym was filled with quilts from Carrington, New Rockford, Jamestown and other surrounding cities.
Quilts by featured quilter, Julie Schulz, from Jamestown...
Sponsored by the Carrington Chamber of Commerce and the Designer Fabrics & Piecemakers Quilt Guild, this was an annual event well worth attending.

There were door prizes and drawings for visitors. As well, visitors got to vote for their favorite quilt. The "Viewers' Choice" award went to Ilana Meilkejohn from Dickey, whose quilt impressed people with its intricate piecework and brilliant colors.
Ladies look at the quilt that won "Viewer's Choice."
Bev Brunch, president of Piecemakers Quilt Guild, said that their guild meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at Northern Plains Electric during the winter. They offer classes and have workdays for beginning and dedicated quilters. If you are interested in joining their group, or for more information, call 701-652-2524 or 800-641-9668.
