Brats & Bluegrass
- 2008

Good food, pleasant music and a
beautiful evening! If you didn't get to the Brats & Bluegrass
event at the Putnam House on Monday night, July 21st, you missed out
on an enjoyable evening.

The brats must have been scrumptious,
because even after selling over a hundred, the servers still faced a
long line of anticipatory eaters.

Quite a large crowd gathered on the
Putnam House lawn, enjoying their brats and finding a good place to
sit for the upcoming concert by Cottonwood.

Cottonwood, noted for using
traditional bluegrass instruments, played a variety of bluegrass and
country-flavored tunes... tunes that were greatly enjoyed by the
Carrington audience.
Introducing Cottonwood... Jill
Wiese-bass/mandolin/guitar, Lee Benjamin-banjo/dobro/guitar. Keith
Koch-guitar, Dan Foster-mandolin/guitar.

A big THANKS to everyone who helped
put this Putnam House event together! Also, thanks to community
members who continue to support Putnam House activities.
Because of you, we can look forward to ongoing, entertaining events
sponsored by the Carrington Historical Society.
