The evening of Tuesday, July 4th, was a great time for a parade in Carrington. The extreme heat of the day cooled down to a more acceptable temperature with a nice breeze to welcome all the participants and viewers. Although there weren't as many entries as in past years, those who participated seemed to have a lot of fun and did a great job. They were particularly generous with their candy-throwing, treat tossing, and water spraying. One water balloon sailed right past my head, and a fellow behind me actually caught it without it bursting. Quite a feat! (Wish I could have caught the action - not the balloon - on my camera!)
