Dealing with Snow

A Common Sight around Carrington

Delivering Mail at 20-Below! Brrrrr!

Things for us to remember when living with a large amount of snow:

1.  Please keep pathways clear to your mailbox so your mail can be delivered.

2.  Keep the vent pipes on your roof clear of snow, so sewer gases won't escape into your home.

3.  If you have natural gas, check the area where gas enters your home and keep the equipment free from snow.

4.  Set your garbage by the curb on the day it is due to be picked up.

5.  Keep a cold weather emergency kit in your vehicle.

Check the following guide for more information for dealing with extreme cold:

Extreme Cold: A Prevention Guide To Promote Your Personal Health & Safety.
